Okaaaaaaaaaaaay~ (I said I said that a lot, LOL)! First, I wanted to apologize to everyone… I wasn’t able to find my camera to take pictures! I couldn’t use a scanner to scan the picture of Platinum that I drew, either. Blaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah! I will see about posting everything whenever I am able to. Alright. Now that is done, so let me tell you a funny story.
Platinum is sooooo funny! Whenever he does business in his litterbox… This is his face: (=w=)… LOL! Anyway, he is EXTREMELY paranoid about anybody seeing him “go potty”, and I know this may sound mean, but I always use that to my advantage to bother him, because his reactions are always so funny! Platinum was doing his business, and I was sitting on my bed and he was trying to pretend that I wasn’t watching him. After he finished, I said, “I saw that, Platinum.” He looked at me wide-eyed, and then he ran under the bed! LOL!
Okay… (I say that a lot) So hopefully I can complete this list.
- Brush Platinum.
- Bathe Platinum.
- Brush Platinum again.
- Take and upload pictures of Platinum.
- Pamper the babylicious cuteness that is Platinum.
- Vacuum rooms… (Is this too personal? LOL)
- Maybe make dinner or something? That would be nice, but I doubt that I’ll be able to. My mom doesn’t trust my cooking (LOL)!
- Do personal stuff for myself and my baby, you know… Well… I don’t want to give out TMI (lol).
- Draw a picture of Platinum and upload it to blog.
This post is not chronological. Haha, sorry, but I want to save the BEST for last, meaning my Platinumlicious baby’s story is last.
Okay! So, I woke up this morning and I realized that I wanted violet-colored eye contacts. I searched around for a while, and soon enough I found a brand and pair that I am fond of: Freshlook Colors’ violet eye contacts. Look at them! They are beautiful! Wow! My eyes are brown with green featherlike flakes surrounding each pupil.
Anyway, when I woke up I noticed that Platinum was not with me. I was freaking out! I sleep with him, so I wasn’t really sure where he would go… I checked under my covers… Not there… Under the bed… Not there… On the window ledge… Not there either! So then I went into the bathroom and saw that he was lying down in the bathtub staring at me with his big, beautiful blue eyes. I was so relieved! He is such a silly butt (LOL). I immediately picked him up, placed him on the bed, turned him over on his back, and kissed him all over. Platinum loves kisses! He was purring, and I was happy that I had my baby.
Okay, moving along… Platinum is so funny! Whenever I move the cursor around the monitor, he chases the arrow and bats at it (LOL)! I love my baby.
Hello, everybody… Or nobody… Rather, “Hello readers”? Oh well, this is my first blog entry. It is a pleasure to meet you, or it will be a pleasure? Or maybe you’re just an acquaintance? Maybe you won’t even communicate with me at all! Anyway, if you do communicate with me, then I suppose that when I greet you my greeting would be redundant… But I want to give my readers a proper greeting, so it is nice to meet you. Yes… That is how I will greet you, for now.
I originally intended to start blogging a while ago, but do to silly complications in life I was unable to. Now I have started my journey into blogging. I feel kind of awkward… Well, to be honest, I am quite awkward. My English skills are terrible, I suppose… So please don’t bash my terrible grammar (LOL)! I am a Math and Science person… Not an English or History person. Anyway, this blog wasn’t created for me to post just about me; I created this blog to also share with the world, well, anybody who looks at my blog, my child! My name is Mason, but call me Silo. I intend to change my name eventually. I am 16 (Turning 17 on August 14th) at the moment, so of course I don’t have a human child (No offense to any of you out there who do! It’s just that having a child right now isn’t in my plans). My baby boy is my precious Platinum Heart, he is my beautiful, wonderful Persian kitten! He was born on April 1st, 2010. I consider him to be my son. I sleep with him, bathe him, feed him, and I enjoy taking care of him. He is my obsession! I am always thinking about him.
My mom bought him for me because she said that she would buy me whatever kind of pet that I wanted, but, as I stated before, Platinum is my child, my baby, and not in any means a “pet” to me. One day I was watching Animal Planet’s Cats 101, and during the episode that I was watching there was a segment about Himalayans/Persians. I instantly fell in love with Goma, and I knew that I had to have a Himmy/Persian baby of my own, after all, those are my favorite types of cat. I extensively researched about Persians before I considered telling my mom that the “pet” that I wanted was a Persian. After doing my research I began to explore online for the baby that I wanted. I searched for what seemed to be a very long time, and eventually I found my baby! As soon as I saw him I knew that he was the one!
I found him on my friend Wissam’s website, Wisspurrs Himalayans. So I e-mailed Wissam, and, in my strange childish manner of communication, told Wissam that I fell in love with Platinum, who at that time was named Heart Breaker. He asked me to call him, and so I told my mom that I had found the one and that Wissam wanted us to call him, so she came upstairs and called him with me. I was nervous at first to talk to someone that I didn’t know on the phone, but Wissam was very kind and warm, and his demeanor calmed me. (Irrelevant note: OMG my feet are so cold right now, and Platinum just walked by the front of the monitor, lol.) So we reserved Platinum and then bought him. I was soooooooo excited!
Wissam is very knowledgable and passionate about Persians! He doesn’t produce very many litters annually, but do you want to know a secret? *Wisspurrs (Ha, I just made a pun!): He has the best.* Wissam definitely emphasizes quality over quantity, which is a beautiful philosophy!
Anyway, since Platinum was originally named Heart Breaker (His father is Rule Breaker), and I noticed the “Breaker” trend… This may sound awful of me not to include “Breaker” in my baby’s name, but I really did want to pay homage to my baby’s ancestors, as this trend was quite interesting, but I also wanted to give him a name that I thought to be very fitting in my own style, so I kept the “Heart” part of his name, and named my baby “Platinum Heart”.
The wait for my baby seemed like FOREVER, but in reality it wasn’t too long of a wait, as Wissam does want to ship kittens when they are usually between 10-14 weeks old (Varies depending on the kitten) to make sure that each kitten is healthy. Wissam took very great care of my baby, and my baby has such a funny personality!
Anyway, I believe that I have rambled on enough about this for now… So I will make another post or something. I’m very random at times, so don’t be shocked if my posts are random.
